We are looking for a talented, creative and hardworking sales assistant to join our team. You will be the face of an exciting new venture showcasing new products from young creatives and work with the wider team to help implement our digital strategy.

Salary: £11.95 per hour.
Job purpose:
To offer a high standard of service, having a genuine appreciation of the customer and their individual needs. To replenish, promote and display product lines to maximise sales. To help ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the store.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To serve customers on the tills in a confident and friendly manner.
To replenish and manage stock and price tickets.
To ensure promotional activities are adhered to and sufficient stock is ordered to achieve maximum sales.
To maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas.
To develop knowledge of products, and to share that knowledge with customers and other colleagues in a confident manner.
Monitor shop inventory on website as well as in store, updating products wherever necessary.
To offer exemplary customer service.
To ensure invoices are issued to shop vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
Credit control; ensuring invoices are paid and where overdue, statements and reminders are issued as appropriate.
Outreach; contacting appropriate vendors and making them aware of the opportunity to sell their products in store.
Communications; managing day-to-day communications with store vendors as well as any inbound queries and questions from the public via email and social media channels.
Scheduling pre-prepared content on social media platforms.
Capturing product and vendor photography and video to help promote the store, vendors and products and raise awareness of our aims.
Any other duties as required and as commensurate with nature of the post.
